Disaffiliation Information

 

 St. Paul’s congregation has voted to leave the United Methodist denomination with 69% of those present voting in favor of disaffiliation.  This is a lengthy process.  The next step is the Susquehanna Conference of the UMC will vote at the meeting in May to approve or disapprove our leaving the denomination. 


The United Methodist Church (UMC) is currently in a state of change, and as a result Saint Paul’s has made the decision to disaffiliate from the UMC. Below is a link to a document put together by the Leadership Council that explains the council’s position.
